Why use Bath Salts? DBC will tell you why.

There are several good reasons why you should take a salt bath.  One it has therapeutic benefits that relieve stress.  Using Bath salts with scented oils gives you the feeling of having an aromatherapy session in your own home like at a health spa.

When you bathe your body absorbs water.  Using salts add much needed minerals to that water that our body absorbs.  Your basic bath salt has therapeutic minerals that  help heal skin tissue and it soothes deep muscle aches.

Sea salt is even better to use in a bath because it contains magnesium, potassium, and most importantly calcium.  So sea salt once a week is great if you been having problems with cramping up or you have low calcium intake.  Sea salt also improves circulation and energizes the body.  The best form of sea salt and more expensive is Dead Sea salt.

Epsom salt, the most likely least expensive of the salts, is good for improving blood circulation and it helps with troubled skin like eczema or psoriasis.   You can also use other types of salts such as rock salt.

TIP:  You may want to mix you salts with a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, or our favorite avocado oil. Only a few drops of fragrance oil is needed.   Carrier oils are great for enhancing the fragrance in your salts.  When mixed with the salts it actually dissolves with the salts in the water instead of floating on top the water allowing them to be absorbed by the body as well.
