Trayvon Martin; Murder or Self Defense

 On February 28th,
2012 George Zimmerman, placed a call to 911 to report a "suspicious" black male
walking the area wearing a dark hoodie. Zimmerman followed Trayvon, shot and
killed him. The Sanford Police Department did not arrest Zimmerman, who claims
he was acting under Florida's "Stand Your Ground Law," a law which states that "
a person may use deadly force in self defense when there is reasonable belief of
a
threat, without an obligation to retreat first."

Several key words
are overlooked when citing this law. First when Zimmerman called 911, he was
advised not to pursue Trayvon, Zimmerman failed to comply. This negates the main
part of that law since Self Defense, when used in law, requires you to not put
yourself in harms way. The fact that Zimmerman ignored the advice of the 911
opertive, shows he was looking for trouble.

The next part of the law,
without an obligation to retreat first. These are public streets, he could have
backed off and waited for the "real authorities" to investigate. This shows me
that even Zimmerman doesn't even know the law he is quoting. To me, it seems he
stopped reading after the deadly force part. Now murder is a hard case to prove.
But the fact remains that Zimmerman did intent to shot Trayvon without a doubt.
And to me, there is enough evidence that Zimmerman could be arrested for second
degree murder. And I believe his parents should file suit against the city so
pressure would be applied to arrest Zimmerman. But that's enough on my take.
Take my poll, I would love to hear your opinion on my correspondence.

For me, the slam dunk in arresting the man came after the 911 dispatcher told him not to follow the boy and that they would handle it! He was looking for a confrontation and an excuse...

Trayvon lost his life at the hands of a wantabee law enforcement officer. He is the son of a magistrate, and thus the police cover up.what is also in.teresting is how some conservatives are objecting to the media coverage. Let's talk about women's birth control instead.Go figure?

Birth control is a topic I think I should cover. I think that will be my next OP piece.
